June Kendrick

Senior Consultant

June Kendrick has worked with David Shepard Associates, Inc. since 1996. For DSA, her concentration has been on marketing databases and the applications that maintain and access them. She has a technical background in data processing, with knowledge of UNIX and Microsoft operating system software as well as multiple development languages and various database management systems including Visual FoxPro, MySQL and Paradox.

In her role as a data processing technical consultant, she developed the browser based front-end used to access the Fast-Count Database Management System. This UNIX based, client server application utilizes Apache as the database server with application code developed in Perl with a MySQL database to control end-user access. The client side runs under Microsoft’s Internet Explorer using html and JavaScript. She is presently developing an additional front end facility to integrate a product optimization component into the system.

As an independent consultant, she has developed and maintained microcomputer-based business applications including order processing and accounting systems, and maintains the computer infrastructure of small businesses. She also has experience as a systems programmer in the securities industry.

June holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University. In addition, she is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery.
